Description
LED tail light kit for VW Type 3 year model 1961-1969 notchback, squareback and fastback. The kit contains six LED modules in total, with two of each: Turn signal, Brake signal and Rear light.
You get:
2 x Turn signal light LED bulb modules in RED (US standard)
2 x Brake signal LED bulb modules light in RED
2 x Rear light LED bulb modules in RED
A good length of heat shrink tube to cover the wire connections.
NB: 6 volt LED modules – they will not be working in 12 volt cars
The light intensity is greatly improved to the stock bulbs:
Turn signal light is 2,5 times brighter
Rear light is 2,5 times brighter
Brake light is 2 times brighter
The modules are fitted with 6.3 mm Faston crimp connectors so they can be connected directly to your AirCooled vintage VW car ‘s wiring harness.
Easily installed in the bulb holder and put the module wires through the hole in the back where the removed stock bulb was placed.
You need a little bit of construction glue / builders mounting glue or something else to make them sit securely in the bulb holder.
Please consider getting a LED flasher relay to keep the turn signal frequency stabile. Lower power of the LED modules will make the stock relay flash faster. LED turn signal flasher relay 6V
